Remove your brow tattoo safely with Salt & Saline

What is Salt and Saline Removal?

Salt and saline removal is a safe and effective method for removing unwanted permanent makeup or small tattoos. This procedure is nearly identical to getting a tattoo, but instead of implanting pigment, we use a special saline solution to lift and extract the ink from your skin.

At Glowbar, we use FIX'D Tattoo Removal Solution. It's composed of all-natural ingredients, with no harmful chemicals or acids, making it both gentle and highly effective.

How Does It Work? During the procedure, the solution is inserted into the skin in the same way tattoo ink is applied, using the same tools. The saline solution helps to draw the pigment to the surface, where it can then be removed. The solution also contains healing agents like aloe, which help soothe and repair the skin during the process.

How Many Sessions Will I Need? The number of sessions required depends on the depth of the tattoo and the results you're looking for. Most people need between 4 to 6 sessions, though some cases may take fewer or more sessions.

This vegan-friendly product is designed for quick and effective results, often showing visible improvement after just one session.

Why Choose Glowbar? We use the safest, most advanced product on the market, and you can trust that you're receiving the best care available. Whether you're looking to fade or fully remove your tattoo, this solution / procedure ensures a gentle, natural removal process with stunning results.

FAQ'S

1. What is salt and saline brow removal?
Salt and saline brow removal is a natural, safe, and effective method to remove or lighten unwanted permanent makeup (PMU) on your eyebrows. Instead of pigment, a saline solution is applied into the skin using the same technique as tattooing, which helps to lift and extract the ink.

2. How does the process work?
The procedure is similar to getting a tattoo, but instead of pigment, the saline solution is implanted into the skin. The solution draws out the ink, which then rises to the surface and is eventually removed as your skin heals.

3. How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need between 3 to 8 sessions, depending on how deep the pigment is and the results they want. Sessions are spaced 6 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal properly between treatments.

4. Why do I need to wait 6 weeks between sessions?
Your skin needs time to fully heal after each session. Waiting 6 weeks allows the skin to recover, reduces the risk of complications, and ensures the best possible results for future treatments.

5. What is the healing process like?
After each session, your skin may appear red or swollen for a few days. As it heals, you might notice some scabbing, which is a normal part of the process. Avoid picking at the scabs, as this can lead to scarring. Healing typically takes about 7 to 10 days, and full recovery takes up to 6 weeks before your next session.

6. Is the procedure painful?
Most clients experience mild discomfort during the treatment. To minimize pain, you’ll need to pre-numb the area with a topical numbing cream 40 minutes before your appointment. Some clients describe the sensation as a slight stinging or scratching feeling, but it’s generally well-tolerated.

7. What should I do before my appointment?
You should apply a topical numbing cream 40 minutes before your appointment to reduce discomfort. Avoid using alcohol, aspirin, or blood-thinning medications prior to your treatment, as these can increase bleeding and slow the healing process.

8. Are there any side effects or risks?
The most common side effects are redness, swelling, and scabbing, which are part of the natural healing process. In rare cases, improper aftercare or picking at the scabs can lead to scarring. Be sure to follow all aftercare instructions carefully to avoid complications.

9. Can I resume my normal routine after the treatment?
You can resume most daily activities, but avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, and excessive sun exposure for the first 7 to 10 days while your skin heals. It’s also important to keep the area clean and avoid applying makeup until the skin has fully recovered.

10. Is this procedure safe for all skin types?
Yes, saline removal is generally safe for all skin types. However, if you have any skin conditions or sensitivities, it’s important to consult with your technician before starting treatment.

11. Can I have this procedure if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
It is not recommended to undergo salt and saline removal if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

12. How long before I see results?
You’ll start to notice fading after your first session, but complete removal may take several sessions depending on the depth and type of pigment. Many clients see significant improvement after just one or two treatments.

13. What is the difference between laser tattoo removal and this procedure?

Laser tattoo removal and salt and saline tattoo removal are two popular methods for erasing unwanted tattoos, but they work in distinct ways. Laser removal uses high-intensity light to break up ink particles, which are then absorbed and flushed out by the body. However, laser treatments can sometimes affect surrounding hair follicles, potentially leading to hair loss, making it less ideal for areas like the eyebrows. On the other hand, salt and saline removal is a gentler, less invasive technique that involves applying a saline solution to draw out the ink from the skin. This method is especially suited for cosmetic tattoos, like eyebrows, as it preserves the natural hair and causes minimal damage to the delicate skin in that area.

14. What will my brows look like immediately after the appointment?

Immediately after a salt and saline tattoo removal session, your brows will likely appear red, swollen, and irritated. The area may look darker or more pronounced than before due to the natural inflammation response. A scab will begin to form over the treated area in the following days, which is part of the healing process. It’s important to avoid picking or disturbing the scab, as this is crucial for effective pigment removal. Swelling and redness should subside within a few days
